League Studio is the entity within Riot Games that develops League of Legends, Wild Rift, TFT, and Legends of Runeterra. To support the aspirations of these games, the Studio makes significant investments in developing and advancing the League game platform through the Tech Foundations team.

League Data Central (LDC) is a team accountable for decision science, data products, data capture, and data warehousing and governance for League Studio. Our mission is to harness the power of data for player-centric decisions and AI/ML products that make it better to be a player. As the Senior Manager of Technical Production on LDC, you will spearhead the development of sustainable and efficient processes across the team, guiding development to ensure we fulfill commitments successfully. Additionally, you will provide the necessary support to align team efforts with strategic priorities, ensuring that work is carried out sustainably and with a focus on continuous improvement. You will report to the Senior Director of Technical Production for Tech Foundations.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the initiative work system for teams within the organization, including rituals, tracking, reporting, and partner management.
  • Ensure teams make clear commitments and deliver on them.
  • Assess the organization’s maturity, health, and composition to ensure it is set up for success.
  • Ensure teams are staffed efficiently and funded appropriately.
  • Step in to drive critical projects or programs when needed.
  • Advocate for and articulate the product direction set by your product partner.
  • Create and contribute ideas beyond your immediate ownership across different teams and disciplines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience leading teams through feature development (planning, execution, delivery, post-release support).
  • Experience applying Agile and Lean development processes at scale.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, game development, data management, or data science.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Producer, Product Manager, Program Manager, or Development Manager on medium to large teams.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in medium to large size organizations and collaborating across various organizations.
  • Experience working with teams building data products, such as Data Scientists and Data Engineers.

  • (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $196,900.00 - $275,200.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
